The Maloney Spartans football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Hall Titans to 14 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Britain for a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 test on Thursday, October 30. Maloney will face a Golden Hurricanes team coming off a 28-22 league win over Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Golden Hurricanes record now stands at 5-1.

The Titans (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Guardians go into the Central Connecticut - Tier 1 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Glastonbury was edged by New Britain (New Britain, CT), 28-22, in a league challenge.
