In Friday's league match, the host Hooker Bulldogs football team scored a big 53-20 win over the Merritt Oilers.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Watonga Eagles (Watonga, OK) in a A-I District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Hooker will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 13-0 league loss to Crescent (Crescent, OK).
