Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ) followers were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 36-12 in a league match.

The Badgers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Cactus Shadows defeated Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ), 21-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks confront the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran match, on Friday, October 31. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Colts come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 35-17 league win over Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ).
