The Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) football trounced the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 49-0 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran game, on Friday, October 10. Marana will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 48-33 league loss to Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ).

The Nighthawks (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Desert Mountain overwhelmed Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 49-20, in a league game.
