Georgia High School Football - Thomson trounces Josey

October 24, 2025: Thomson, GA 30824

In Friday's league match, the host Thomson Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 50-6 triumph over the Josey Eagles.

The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Butler (Augusta, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AA Region 4 match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Butler was ripped by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 44-6, in a league battle.

The Eagles now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4 battle on Friday, October 31. Josey will play a Spartans team coming off a 52-0 league loss to Laney (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-9.
