The Thomson Bulldogs football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Burke County Bears to 14 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4 game on Friday, October 10. Thomson will face a Spartans team coming off a 52-6 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-7.

The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Josey (Augusta, GA). The Eagles enter the AA Region 4 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Josey fell by Laney (Augusta, GA), 52-0, in a league game.
