Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) and the host Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR), saw Junction City's football team bounce Murfreesboro by a final score of 59-6.

With the win, Junction City advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Dragons host Lafayette County (Stamps, AR) to encounter the Cougars in a 2A Region 3 bout on Friday, October 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Lafayette County lost 30-2 in their recent league bout against Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR)

The Rattlers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Hill for a 2A Region 3 contest on Friday, October 31. Murfreesboro will confront a Bears squad coming off a 24-6 league loss to Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Bears record now stands at 4-4.
