In Friday's league game, the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) football team were victorious over the host Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX), by a score of 48-19.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) in a 4A-1 Region III District 10 game, on Friday, October 31. Vidor will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
