In Friday's league match, the visiting Yorktown Wildcats football squad scored a decisive 44-0 victory over the Louise Hornets.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers enter the 2A-2 Region IV District 15 match with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Falls City walloped Charlotte (Charlotte, TX), 53-0, in a league battle.

The Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Shiner for a 2A-2 Region IV District 15 battle on Friday, October 31. Louise will confront a Comanches squad coming off a 61-6 league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 8-0.
