The Yuma Criminals football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Somerton Toros to 7 in the Criminals league triumph on Friday.

The Criminals now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kofa for a 4A Desert Southwest challenge on Friday, October 31. Yuma will face a Kings team coming off a 41-19 league loss to Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Kings record now stands at 3-6.

The Toros (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Havasu nipped Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 40-13, in a league challenge.
