In Friday's league match, the host Cibola Raiders football team scored a big 49-0 win over the Somerton Toros.

With the win, Cibola advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders host Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Palo Verde Valley lost 34-6 in their recent non-league match against Sweetwater (National City, CA)
