California High School Football - Granite Hills defeats El Capitan
October 24, 2025: Lakeside, CA 92040 In Friday's league battle, the visiting Granite Hills Eagles football team scored a nice 21-6 win over the El Capitan Vaqueros.
With the win, Granite Hills advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 30. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Steele Canyon lost 34-14 in their recent league battle against Helix (La Mesa, CA)
The Vaqueros now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Mount Miguel for a battle on Friday, October 31. El Capitan will play a Matadors team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 5-3.
