October 25, 2022: Phoenix, AZ 85051 Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Prospectors battle the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A - Black Canyon match, on Thursday, October 27. Apache Junction will attempt to advance on its 16-8 season record. The Buffaloes come into the match with a 5-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
With the loss, Cortez drops to 2-18 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Dons in a 4A - Black Canyon match on Thursday, October 27. The Dons come into the match with a record of 0-15. Coronado lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ)
