The Franklin County Eagles held off the host Byrd Terriers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge test on Thursday, October 27. Franklin County will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-3.

The Terriers (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Cave Spring was nudged by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
