Colorado High School Volleyball - Holy Family nudged by Windsor
October 25, 2022: Broomfield, CO 80020 The Windsor Wizards volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Holy Family Tigers to 2 in the Wizards league victory on Tuesday.
The Wizards now possess a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grandview for a non-league game on Friday, October 28. Windsor will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 14-5.
The Tigers (14-7) will now prepare for their game against The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 12-9 record. In their last game, The Classical Academy was nudged by Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO), 3-2, in a league game.
Match Summary
A terrific match tonight where both teams battled to the end! We were able to come out on top due to every player on the court contributing in the victory! The team was led offensively by Jr. Cailyn McCracken who ended the night with a season high 22 kills on 45 attempts! Defensively at the net the team was led by Jr. Julia Bohlinger who finished the night with 6 blocks and came up big with a few timely kills (10). Contributing defensively Sr. Libero Elle Faulkner (16)digs and Sr. DS Rowan Starman (14) digs. Sr. Zoe Bauer playing her first match in a couple of weeks finished the night with 3 blocks and several positive touches at the net! Sr. Avery Lacy also came up big with some good offensive and defensive plays!
