Virginia High School Football - Woodson trounced by West Potomac
October 25, 2023: Fairfax, VA 22031 West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) fans left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their football team rout the host Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), 34-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Potomac improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Wolverines host South County (Lorton, VA) to confront the Stallions in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 31. The Stallions go into the test with a record of 6-2. South County won 12-7 in their recent non-league test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
With the loss, Woodson moves to 2-6 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, November 2. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-4. West Springfield lost 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
