North Carolina High School Football - Alexander Central defeated by South Caldwell
October 25, 2024: Hudson, NC 28638 The South Caldwell Spartans were victorious over the visiting Alexander Central Cougars football team by a score of 30-17 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge, on Friday, November 1. South Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 35-14 league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC).
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the Northwestern 3A/4A challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Hibriten fell by Watauga (Boone, NC), 49-14, in a league challenge.
