Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), 50-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Appomattox County improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Dogwood battle on Friday, November 8. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-6.

The Generals now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Dan River for a Dogwood battle on Friday, November 1. William Campbell will play a Wildcats team coming off a 53-32 league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
