October 25, 2024: Bedford, MA 01730 The Wayland Warriors football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Bedford Buccaneers to 10 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Newton South for a non-league test on Friday, November 1. Wayland will meet a Lions squad coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Lions record now stands at 0-7.
With the defeat, Bedford drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Waltham (Waltham, MA) to meet the Hawks in a Dual County - Foley test on Friday, November 1. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 3-4. Waltham won 49-14 in their recent non-league test against Newton South (Newton, MA)
