Massachusetts High School Football - Wayland sneaks past Burlington
November 8, 2024: Burlington, MA 01803 The Wayland Warriors football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Burlington Red Devils to 44 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scituate for a non-league test on Friday, November 15. Wayland will meet a Sailors squad coming off a 41-7 non-league win over Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Sailors record now stands at 10-0.
With the defeat, Burlington drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Bedford (Bedford, MA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Thursday, November 28. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Bedford lost 42-8 in their recent non-league test against Grafton (Grafton, MA)
