Arkansas High School Football - Lee overwhelmed by East Poinsett County
October 25, 2024: Lepanto, AR 72354 In Friday's league test, the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) football squad overwhelmed the visiting Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR), by a count of 54-12.
The Warriors now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Des Arc for a 2A Region 2 test on Friday, November 1. East Poinsett County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 24-6 league win over Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Lee drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host McCrory (McCrory, AR) to meet the Jaguars in a 2A Region 2 test on Friday, November 1. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 5-3. McCrory lost 30-20 in their recent league test against Earle (Earle, AR)
