The Medford Raiders football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Lakeland Thunderbirds to 7 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fox Valley Lutheran for a non-league test on Friday, November 1. Medford will meet a Foxes squad coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Foxes record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Lakeland drops to 5-5 on the campaign.
