Alabama High School Football - Marion can't hold off Pickens Academy
October 25, 2024: Carrollton, AL 35447 Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Marion Rams (Marion, AL), 21-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Pickens Academy improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Pirates travel to Greene County (Eutaw, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Greene County won 32-24 in their recent league battle against Vincent (Vincent, AL)
The Rams now have a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Autaugaville for a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. Marion will play a Eagles team coming off a 47-0 league win over Ellwood Christian (Selma, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
