The Linden Patriots walloped the visiting Marion Rams football team by a score of 50-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Holy Spirit Catholic Saints (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a 1A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Linden will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Saints go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 20-13 league loss to Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL).

The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hatch (Uniontown, AL). The Bobcats go into the 1A Region 3 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Hatch was ripped by University Charter (Livingston, AL), 58-12, in a league challenge.
