Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), 41-34 in a league battle.

With the win, Sterling advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Spring Woods (Houston, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A-1 Region III District 10 battle on Friday, November 1. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Spring Woods won 14-6 in their recent league battle against Madison (Houston, TX)

The Buffs now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Spring Woods for a 5A-1 Region III District 10 battle on Saturday, November 9.
