Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT), 21-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Platt advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers host Enfield (Enfield, CT) to play the Eagles in a Central Connecticut - Tier 2 battle on Thursday, October 31. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Enfield lost 58-0 in their recent league battle against Windsor (Windsor, CT)

The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to New Britain for a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. Simsbury will play a Golden Hurricanes team coming off a 20-17 league win over Maloney (Meriden, CT). The Golden Hurricanes record now stands at 6-0.
