October 25, 2024: Wakefield, MA 01880 Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), 28-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Wakefield Memorial advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Warriors host Stoneham (Stoneham, MA) to play the Spartans in a Middlesex - Freedom battle on Friday, November 1. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Stoneham won 42-21 in their recent league battle against Burlington (Burlington, MA)
The Wildcats now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Melrose for a Middlesex - Freedom battle on Friday, November 1. Wilmington will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 32-0 league win over Watertown (Watertown, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-4.
