The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Brady Bulldogs (Brady, TX) and the host Early Longhorns (Early, TX), witnessed Brady's football squad edge Early by a tally of 21-15.

With the win, Brady advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Tolar (Tolar, TX) to encounter the Rattlers in a 3A-2 Region II District 5 bout on Friday, October 31. The Rattlers enter the contest with a record of 3-5. Tolar lost 22-13 in their recent league contest against Clifton (Clifton, TX)

Coming up next, the Longhorns confront the Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX) in a 3A-2 Region II District 5 contest, on Friday, October 31. Early will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 57-7 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, TX).
