New York High School Football - Walt Whitman wallops Riverhead
October 25, 2025: Huntington Station, NY 11746 The Walt Whitman Wildcats football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Riverhead Blue Waves to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to William Floyd for a Section 11 Division I test on Saturday, November 1. Walt Whitman will face a Colonials team coming off a 42-0 league win over Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY). The Colonials record now stands at 7-0.
The Blue Waves (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY). The Marauders go into the Section 11 Division I challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Bay Shore was ripped by William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY), 42-0, in a league challenge.
