In Saturday's league challenge, the host Stevens Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brookings Bobcats.

The Raiders (24-9) will now prepare for their test against Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD). The Lynx go into the AA District 1 test with a 17-3 record. In their last test, Brandon Valley nudged Washington (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-2, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 9-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spearfish for a AA District 1 challenge on Saturday, October 25. Brookings will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 16-8.
