The Gate City Blue Devils topped the visiting Union [Appalachia/Powell Valley] Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils now have a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 28. Gate City will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Battle (Bristol, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-7.

The Bears (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Battle was knocked off by Central (Norton, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
