October 26, 2023: Baxley, GA 31513 The Appling County Pirates softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets to 5 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Appling County moves its record to 19-7 on the year.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 27. Jeff Davis will attempt to move on its 28-4 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 12-12 record after their 11-10 non-league win over Rockmart (Rockmart, GA).
