Pennsylvania High School Football - Springside Chestnut Hill Academy edged by Haverford School
October 26, 2024: Haverford, PA 19041 The Haverford School Fords edged the visiting Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils football team by a score of 28-21 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Fords face the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Inter-Academic challenge, on Saturday, November 2. Haverford School will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Quakers enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 42-14 league loss to Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA).
The Blue Devils (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Churchmen enter the Inter-Academic challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Episcopal Academy held off Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA), 42-17, in a non-league challenge.
