Pennsylvania High School Football - William Penn Charter defeated by Haverford School
November 2, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19144 The Haverford School Fords were victorious over the host William Penn Charter Quakers football team by a score of 30-3 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Fords face the Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 9. Haverford School will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Churchmen enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 28-9 league loss to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA).
The Quakers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots enter the Inter-Academic challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Germantown Academy lost by Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA), 44-7, in a league challenge.
