Minnesota High School Football - Maple River can't hold off Waterville-Elysian-Morristown
October 26, 2024: Waterville, MN 56096 Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 14-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Triton (Dodge Center, MN) to play the Cobras in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Cobras go into the battle with a record of 8-2. Triton won 66-7 in their recent non-league battle against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN)
The Eagles now own a 5-6 record.
