October 27, 2022: Mescalero, NM 88340 The Lordsburg Mavericks topped the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Mavericks now have a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cloudcroft for a 2A District 3 test on Saturday, October 29. Lordsburg will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Bears record now stands at 13-7.
The Chiefs (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 3 test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Tularosa gained a win over Capitan (Capitan, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
