October 27, 2023: Bakersville, NC 28705 In Friday's league game, the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC), by a score of 48-28.
The Mountaineers (8-2) will now prepare for their game against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, East Wilkes knocked off North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 59-0, in a league game.
