The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) football nudged the visiting Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA), 31-24 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout, on Friday, November 3. Thomas County Central will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 29-0 league win over Veterans (Kathleen, GA).

The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the AAAAAA Region 1 bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Tift County was nudged by Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 26-14, in a league bout.
