Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA), 35-17 in a league test.

With the win, Mahanoy Area improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to confront the Green Knights in a non-league test on Friday, November 3. The Green Knights go into the test with a record of 5-5. Pen Argyl lost 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Bangor (Bangor, PA)

With the loss, Shenandoah Valley moves to 2-8 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, November 2. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-10. Salisbury Township lost 35-14 in their recent non-league test against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA)
