The Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) volleyball knocked off the host Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), 3-1 in Monday's league contest.

The Islanders (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers enter the Bay Rivers contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Bruton was knocked off by Grafton (Yorktown, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams battle the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers battle, on Thursday, October 30. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
