In Friday's league game, the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) football team were victorious over the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), by a score of 40-21.

The Wolves (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Vikings come into the 5A Northeast Valley game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Sunnyslope knocked off Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 48-30, in a league game.

The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a 5A Northeast Valley game on Friday, November 4. Gilbert will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 53-0 league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-3.
