In Friday's league game, the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) football team smashed the visiting East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC), by a final score of 58-18.

The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Central Davidson was trounced by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 16-14, in a league game.
