October 28, 2022: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The East Iberville Tigers football team (St. Gabriel, LA), was tipped 18-16 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA)
The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Jeanerette nipped Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 22-0, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Castle for a 1A District 8 challenge on Friday, November 4. East Iberville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-12 league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
