October 6, 2022: Donaldsonville, LA 70346 The St. John Eagles football team (Plaquemine, LA), was ripped 49-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA)
The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers come into the 1A District 8 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, East Iberville trounced Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA), 48-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ascension Christian for a 1A District 8 challenge on Thursday, October 13. St. John will meet a team coming off a 58-7 league loss to White Castle (White Castle, LA). The record now stands at 0-6.
