October 28, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28277 The South Mecklenburg Sabres soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves to 1 in the Sabres non-league victory on Monday.
The Sabres now possess a 16-1 record. They play next when they host Myers Park for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 30. South Mecklenburg will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-1.
With the loss, Ballantyne Ridge moves to 3-15 on the year. The Wolves host Independence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Independence won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Butler (Matthews, NC)
