Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now have a 26-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 30. Tri-Valley will play a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Saints record now stands at 31-5.

With the loss, Monticello moves to 21-15 on the season.
