Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), observed West Potomac's volleyball team hold off Woodson by a tally of 3-2.

The Wolverines (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans enter the Patriot test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, West Springfield tipped South County (Lorton, VA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host South County for a Patriot challenge on Thursday, October 30. Woodson will meet a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 7-16.
