The Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) football nudged the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 20-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Greenville Hornets (Greenville, MS) in a 5A Region 1 bout, on Friday, November 5. Cleveland Central will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 49-8 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS).

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Saltillo (Saltillo, MS). The Tigers enter the 5A Region 1 bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Saltillo was nudged by West Point (West Point, MS), 41-10, in a league bout.
