October 29, 2021: Monroe, LA 71203 The River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) football edged the visiting Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 10-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Delhi Bears (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 2 bout, on Thursday, November 4. River Oaks will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 60-6 league loss to Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA).
The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA). The Tigers enter the 1A District 2 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Oak Grove nudged St. Frederick (Monroe, LA), 31-14, in a league bout.
