October 7, 2021: Sicily Island, LA 71368 The Sicily Island Tigers football team (Sicily Island, LA), was ripped 51-6 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA)
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Jonesboro-Hodge trounced Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 51-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Frederick for a 1A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 15. Sicily Island will meet a Warriors team coming off a 25-7 league loss to Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
